Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how CutStack ("the service", "we", "us") handles information when you use the web application at CutStack.app. The service is operated by Christian Lessner, Fehmarnstr. 8, 22047 Hamburg, Germany. Contact: [email protected].
1. Files you upload
CutStack processes the timeline files (FCP7/XMEML and FCPXML) you choose to upload. These files are sent to our server, parsed and consolidated in memory only, and are not written to permanent storage. Once your request has been answered, the uploaded content is discarded. We do not retain copies of your timelines and we do not use them for any purpose other than producing the result you requested.
Be aware that timeline files can themselves contain information such as source file names, file paths (which may include user or computer names), reel names, timecodes and camera metadata. This information is only used to generate your consolidated output and is not stored or shared.
2. Server log data
Like most web services, our hosting infrastructure may automatically record technical request data such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the requested resource and your browser's user agent. All user-controllable logging has been disabled.
3. Cookies and tracking
CutStack does not set cookies, does not use analytics, and does not track you across websites. No user accounts are required and no advertising or profiling takes place.
4. Third-party services
All fonts and assets are served directly from our own server. CutStack does not load web fonts, scripts or other resources from third-party content delivery networks, so no data is transmitted to such providers when you use the service.
The service is hosted by All-inkl.com, which processes the request data described above on our behalf as a data processor.
5. How long we keep data
Uploaded timeline files are not retained beyond the duration of the request that processes them. No server log data is being kept.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the GDPR), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the latest revision shown above.
8. Contact
For any questions about this policy or your data, contact Christian Lessner at [email protected].
